ECONOMIC CLUB  of  SAN FRANCISCO

"S a p e r e   a u d e"

What is the Purpose of the Economic Club of San Francisco?

The Economic Club of San Francisco was formed in 2004 to provide a forum for discussing questions of political economy, monetary systems and tax policy from a perspective that is often ignored by academia, by politicians and by the financial press.  The books on the reading list, as well as the subjects for discussion are chosen with reference to their tendency to challenge the prevailing paradigm.

Through discussions during regular monthly meetings, and/or by joining the Economic Club's online discussion group, members can gain an understanding of economic and social problems which they would otherwise not have acquired by relying only on their college education, television news and financial press. The motto of the Economic Club of San Francisco is "Sapere aude".

For an invitation to join the online discussion group, please send a request to info@economicclubsf.com
